ENTREPRENEURSHIP
“We are passionate about developing quality entrepreneurs who will have a positive impact within their communities. Our goal is to empower and equip at least a 1000 entrepreneurs annually.“ - Mr Neverl Kambasha (Chairman, Beryl Group) ”-
At Beryl Group entrepreneurship is part of our DNA, and as such we run various initiatives and have a plethora of ‘impact brands’ as part of our entrepreneurship development programme. The overarching goal is to advance social and economic development through entrepreneurship.
.Through our programmes and initiatives we seek to become the premier home and gateway of entrepreneurship in Africa. Seeing entrepreneurs develop and grow is the heartbeat of our entrepreneurship initiatives. Our programmes target a mindset shift that is geared towards ensuring entrepreneurs are well equipped to achieve marketplace dominion for legacy and impact building.
To remain cognizant of the importance of the need for quality entrepreneurship, it is important to note that estimates state that in 2035, one third of the global workforce will be in Africa, and considering that Africa is the next global economic frontier, entrepreneurship has a crucial role to play in contributing towards growth in African economies.
Through our entrepreneurship development programmes we are shaping and defining the entrepreneurship narrative in Africa through value creation and positively impacting every economic sector. Our goal is to annually impact #1000 entrepreneurs through an array of bespoke programmes.
Forging global and local strategic partnerships and mentorship is fundamental to our ethos, which is evidenced and exemplified in our tagline: “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu” – which translates to “I am because you are”. The origins of this philosophy is premised around an inherent sense of community with all its nuances and values, and it is with this borne in mind that The Village has built its flagship products aimed at capturing the complete value chain in the entrepreneurial universe.
